Signs signs

I've made a few things for Camille and CR for their wedding as well as some gifts and things for friends and family.

The wedding favours were really sweet. Camille picked out some birdseed pressed into heart shapes from an etsy seller.

I didn't think a cupcake TOWER sounded ominous until I started to decorate one. You can buy cardboard cupcake towers online to be decorated with paper.

This is how it looks when it's plain.

And finished. I had some tense moments when I wanted to throw the whole thing across the room but once the cupcakes were on it, I was happy with how it turned out.

My sister's birthday was in June and I got to hang out with her when I was in London, Ontario last month. This photo was taken soon after some old dude asked us if we were interested in going upstairs to a private room with him.

Can you tell which of us has a job and which of us spends their days biking and gardening? I made Erin a gift to give to her while I was visiting but didn't have a chance to give it to her in person.

One afternoon my Mum and I drove to a cute town near London called Stratford. We saw a MYSTICAL numerologist and then went to get snacks and drinks on the patio at a cute restaurant. Halfway through our mum and daughter party it started to pour rain but there were some really awesome motorized tarp-like things that came out of the wall to protect us.

I am enjoying a plate of limes.

And then there was Chicago. I went to the awesome Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Contemporary Art with Charmaine and on a not so awesome boat cruise where the food made me sick.

At the Take Your Time Olafur Eliasson exhibit at the , right before I got chastised for taking a photo. Whoops. I still snuck this next one in.

This one was a plain old fan hanging from the ceiling. The heat of the people in the room made the fan change its trajectory. This whole exhibit was really cool.

Char, me and Renee on the cruise.

I'm still undecided on Chicago, I might need to give it another chance someday, although the deep dish pizza will not be given another chance. Ever.
